I had a very nice test drive today with "Vickie" and she didn't rush it at all. A variety of roads, including on I-5.

yah, i'm pretty sure Vickie is her real name. They are all pretty cool there, no need to use aliases.

My boyfriend and I visited today and going back tomorrow for another look around. I am very impressed with the staff and the dealership is very nice looking.
I was disappointed in the yellow smart once I saw it in person. It seemed a bit lighter and not so fake in pictures. Maybe I should switch to blue... even if it does slow the car down ;)

Hi! We purchased our Smart at a dealership about 10 miles south on I-5.. Are we able to bring our Smart to you for repairs? We were kind of left in the dust when the dealership we purchased our Smart from, stopped selling them. Thanks for your time!

Thanks for looking out for me Be. It's true with all of the hustle I haven’t had much time to get to the forum but we added a new staff member Mae that is going to help out. She seems to be doing a good job handling the madness here at the center so we are glad to have her. I will formally introduce her to the forum once her product training is complete.
As for 450s, I am unable to do most repairs or maintenance at this time. We have not worked out some of the liability issues involved with doing repairs on “gray market” and/or modified vehicles. Parts supply has also become an issue since many of the parts suppliers were also the conversion companies and retailers that are no longer selling 450s. If you contact me directly I will get you in touch with my Service Manager to assess the repair needed and help you the best we can.

Orphans

Because of the huge success of our orphan program, I am opening it up to all reservation holders in our area of responsibility. We have a way to organize the list by reservation number then preferences so we will still be able to make sure we don’t skip anyone.

Here’s what we need:

Email to: sales@smartcenterseattle.com

Subject: orphan

Message body:
Reservation number
Model (Pure, Passion, Cabriolet)
Colors in list of preference (1 yellow, 2 blue, etc.)
Tridion color
Interior color
All Phone #’s

Please keep the message simple and to this format because the information goes onto the list and the original is deleted.

Here’s how it works:

Notice to cancel is received from EXreservation holder (booo); we contact smart 1 to verify the cancellation (this takes 1-2 business days to finalize).

The reservation holders (in order of reservation number) with similar preferences or preferences of “ALL” are contacted by email.

If contacted, you will have by morning next business day to respond.

Responders are called in order of reservation number to confirm equipment and pricing.

You will be asked to “commit” to purchasing the vehicle so if you have not taken a test drive yet or are unsure about some color or option choices, please visit the center ASAP.

If you pass or are unable to commit at this time you will forfeit this chance but will remain on the list for future orphans.

You must be able to finalize transaction within 48 hrs.
