When dealership in Las Vegas?

1) I can't wait until they do open. I'll be bringing lots of friends for test drives - hopefully...

I drove through Towbin Hummer, tonight (on my way to a great dinner at Archi's Thai Bistro). The Smart showroom seems to be completely separated from the Hummer showroom by full glass partitions. It looks as though nearly all the Smart showroom furniture and showroom displays have been installed. The showroom contained no cars and still had a protective covering over the traffic areas of the floor. I saw no Smart Cars on the lot or in the back. The showroom entrance doors had Smart decals and showroom hours labeling. There were actually people looking at Hummers!?...and the Hummer collection looked quite full!

My biggest concern, now, is that Towbin Hummer can charge us whatever they like for "Doc Fees", whereas the California dealers are limited to (apparently) $55.

Towbin will no longer carry the Hummer line. They are in the process of releasing their license to sell Hummer.

The location is 5550 W Sahara, sight of the current Tobin Hummer.

I got the address off of the Smart web site. I even drove by there a few weeks ago and it was a high end dealership, Bently's and Rolls. This is the first I heard about the Hummer dealership.

I went by today and the smart showroom is in one corner of Towbin Hummer dealership. The showroom was set up with the hours posted on the window. There was a security guard with workers finishing up the showroom. There is no sign out front for the smart dealership and there was absolutely no cars out front or in the back lot that were visible. Looks to be open real soon, just needs signs, cars, salespeople and customers.

Just now I saw my first "the Hummers are leaving" TV commercial. I wonder what there plans are, for the building. It seems the Bentley/Rolls Royce location is really crammed, maybe they'll move over to this location. Don't know!...just speculating!

The Smart sign is up at the Hummer location. If you know nyone who would like a Hummer at a great price, they are almost giving these things away.

The old "Towbin Hummer" sign, which was quite prominent, is completely removed. The "smart center Las Vegas" really looks sharp across the front of the building.
