I wanted a yellow cabriolet smart car with black leather heated seats. Is there an orphan out there?

As of today we have a brand new yellow cabriolet with a black tridion cell convertible for sale! It is a one of a kind with a sporty body kit, custom painted wheels and interior, fog lights, power steering, anti-theft, a rev clock and counter, and an authentic european quilted interior (doors, dash, and seats)...it also has a navigation unit with bluetooth and voice activation. Smart of Devon PA has a yellow Cabrio with comfort + some extras for $19,500. Thought about it but at this point, I will wait another month or so for a 2009 orphan

Our orphan is $31,300....Parayboy, did you know that the 2009 models are all $400 more and they aren't any significant changes to the car? you might want to try and snag a 2008 before prices go up! just thought I'd mention it! Cheers!

Amber - it's been stated clearly through multiple posts here that the 2009 models will be $400 more expensive in 2009, not 2008 which - everyone has stated - is rather unusual: increasing a price at the calenday year rather than the model year.

I hope you find a buyer for your orphan. I personally think the dealership went severely overboard with the options and wonder if you'll find a buyer at $30k in the next 6 months. Good luck, though.
