Cargo Fence

When my wife drives the car she moves the seat forward which leaves a well between the flat cargo area and the back of her seat. When the brakes are applied items have tendency to slide forward and fall into this well. Does anyone have a source for a cargo fence that would extend from side to side and mount just at the forward lip of the flat cargo area? Not real excited about a net as it would give.

The cargo divider/cover does exactly that: it sticks (Velcro) to the fore edge of the cargo floor, can be installed either in a lower position (about 2 inches above said floor) or a higher position, flush with the plastic molded shoulder. It has a kangaroo pocket in the front. photo 11
Smart offers also a cargo net that anchor to the cargo floor, or a divider/net that anchors almost to the roof, half of it being solid, the rest a net. photo 10

You can also check on page 157 of the Owner's Manual for a diagram. (At left, under "Site Navigation" third submenu "Helpful Links".)

No 11 from the picture above works great. Doesn't have the net that goes up to top.

There's a couple of #11s at the Annapolis,MD MB/smart parts center. I bought one a week ago and they had two others in stock.

Does the #11 have the pocket nets that go behind the seats, as shown? Those would be sooo handy...

Yes!
Those two equal sized pockets do face the seats' backs. Another poster did reverse the whole contraption to use the pockets facing aft, but it didn't look right, she wrote...

And it snaps into place, so it takes only a moment to take it down, should one need the extra space.
Again, look at page 157 of the Owner's Manual to see how it is installed. It doesn't require neither tools nor technical knowledge to handle.
Some did say it's pricy ($149), but IMHO worth it indeed!
Whereas the number 10 is more complicated to install, especially in the cabrio (DIY w/pics posted somewhere).
