I just got my Smart fortwo

I just got my smart car from the Smart Center of San Diego. Everything went great at delivery. Their was no inflated price or changes to the car I ordered. The dealership and I must say Udo Kaiser was great to work with. I ordered the car the first day Smart would take reservations and I my car was the 23rd delivered to the dealership. All you out their that have a reservation number don’t give up. It is worth the year wait!!

are you sure you ordered on the first day? i'm pretty sure everybody who ordered on the first day got their cars 3 weeks ago.

OK, to clarify, from the SD dealership. They told me that all 1173's were supposed to be in the first delivery.

I just got my Smart this week as I was out of the country for the last 3 week and could not take delivery. Smart Center of San Diego will give you 30 days to take delivery after you are notified. They did not sell my car out from under me while I was gone. I can’t say enough good things about the Smart Center of San Diego.

I tried watching and watching and watching for the 1st day to reserve... checked the website probably 2-3 times a day... then, since it wasn't happening, I gave up for a while... 17 days after it started, I checked back in and put in my reservation... I didn't think that mistake would keep me smart-less this long. But now I'm an 1190 and just hoping I don't get tired of waiting and decide to keep my money instead. I would probably eventually get one, but who knows... The smart would be really fun, but lack o' car loan would be fun, too.
