MB's... But i did get the name of the transport company. "JMS Transport LLC" No smarts, but it was exciting rounding the corner and seeing a car hauler! I am an 1173 up in San Luis Obispo. My dealer is in Santa Barbara. I got my email/ call last week, but the manager says he does not have any vins yet.
Has anyone been over to Long Beach to eye the MB import storage lot? I think the new MB's come by covered truck, mostly labeled Waggoners on the side.

Have the smart manager look at his >> smart fortwo Vehicle Reservation Details sheet. One page for each car. The VIN is listed near the bottom of the sheet.

So I contacted Udo last night about what type of access he will have to the smart corp computer system and would he be able to lookup reservation numbers of confirmation holders. He said that that information is being held by smart corp and he has no look to the future unless smart gives him the information. I also asked if he could provide where they are in the order process, such as what reservation numbers have been filled (1173, 1174 and so on) he would not provide that information. So what have I learned, nothing new, smart USA has tight control over the situation and the dealers have limited information they can provide the reservation holders. So it looks like more of a waiting game for all of us except the 1173 folks.

OH MY GOD!!!!! THAT MIGHT BE MY Red and black!! Good job nscaler!! Hey were there only 4 cars on that transporter? And was the Red and black a convertable or hard top?

Since I just happened by, I missed the first couple of cars. I saw in another thread that only seven were coming in.
The one in the front top was a cabrio. The other three were hard tops.

the red back is a conv. you can tell by the back window.
