Rover, I'm a an 1185 and haven't got any info from Udo. Shanna seems to be the only link to real info from Udo, he has yet to make contact with me. I hope the letters come out every week or two so I should hear something in the next couple of weeks if I am lucky. It is strange that people who reserved 30 days after me in other parts of the country are getting their vehicles weeks before me (Load Balancing by smart sucks). So here I wait with nscaler and JTT for a little info from Udo.

Im an 1180 and as you know we just got our notices last friday Feb. 2nd...that's about 2 weeks after the 1173's got their cars...so if that continues you should get your notice soon...I was at the dealership at 1 pm on friday and they had no information about when I'd get notice of my car...then I come back to my office and within an hour the notice shows up from smartusa...I really think that the local dealership doesnt get the information until the cars leave the plant and are put on the ship. seems like we got our notices first then the dealership got their information from smart regarding our cars...

Vander, Udo mentioned that the online system should be in place at the beginning of Feb so he can reference username to vehicle. I don't think the system is up and running yet, I don't have a problem about waiting, it is the lack of info or the fact that I have to always interagate Udo to get any info. He seems to be open to other people, I had my test drive with him and it only lasted 5 or 6 minutes when others have had theirs for 20-30 minutes. Maybe it is just my nature to want more information when there is none to be had.

as of Friday the computer system was NOT online...I asked specifically...but Udo was not in the office that day, but for a few minutes...I spoke mostly with Ricardo, then it was Candice that called me yesterday to indicate my car was on its way...

Thanks for welcoming me to our little group. As I metioned in my introductory e-mail I did not save my reservation e-mail so I don't have the 4digit number everyone is tracking their smart by. I called smartUSA this morning and they confirmed that I made my reservation on March 28th, 2007 at 10:07:40 and from what they told me the reservation program opened up on March 19th.

So can anybody help me with what kind of 4digit number I might have given that I reserved on March 28th? Am I destined to wait forever OR am I destined to get mine pretty soon like some of you lucky people?

I would appreciate any help the group can provide. Just can wait for the smart computer system or the 30 day notice to come it.

and as an 1182 you should be getting an email pretty quick...the 1180 folks me included got our email on friday feb. 1st. I would have thought you would have as well...

you must wait forever ... you're one of the last reservations.


just kidding. You should be getting a notice any day now ... you're an 1182.
The code starts with 1173 which was March 19th. It increments by one for each day after that so you were 9 days after the 19th 1173+9=1182.
Congrats may be in order very soon ... of course now Gene doesn't like you.
