If possible, can you make the poll a multi-select? People (like me) might be perfectly happy to get together a one of two or three places.

I'd also like to ask that you think about more northern locations...La Jolla, Vista, even Escondido. Of course, I'm being selfish here...being that I'm in Orange County.

I chose Balboa park, but would love Coronado as well, both have their advantages...there are always a ton of activities at the park and parking can be a pain sometimes there. There are a couple of out of the way parking lots that most don't know about, and maybe we can save some spaces there...parking at the beach will also be a challenge...guess it boils down to do we do the beach thing or park thing...I'm up for either...

I'm still good for a couple of canopies and would consider doing a banner for the group as well, if that's something you want...shanna

and yes...a date or a couple of dates would be good to consider as well...

I'd say both ... it's April so the beach parking shouldn't be so bad ... it'd be a great shot if we could "inform" the news we were cruising to Coronado from Balboa Park and have them film us as we go over the bridge!

Meet and picnic at Balboa Park then motor out to the coast ... or meet in Balboa Park and toss a Frisbee for a bit then motor to the coast and picnic/bbq.

Here's a thought for a few months from now ...

One thing I like doing in the summer is going to Humphrey's (by the Bay) for their concert series ... except that I don't go in - I have an inflatable raft and I paddle over to watch the show from the water (for free). It's a blast (rather intoxicated at times ...) and would be fun to have a bunch of Smarties pile into the parking lot (doubled-up in each stall) with rafts stuffed into them to go over there and check out the show.

I havent been to Humphrey's...I've got a ski boat, which would sit a few more, is there room for my ski boat, rov, you could tie up next to me...

There's always some ski boats there, just depends on the show how many can get in before the little area there fills up. I think your Smartie might have a little trouble towing the boat however ... lol ... ;)
