If possible, can you make the poll a multi-select? People (like me) might be perfectly happy to get together a one of two or three places.

I'd also like to ask that you think about more northern locations...La Jolla, Vista, even Escondido. Of course, I'm being selfish here...being that I'm in Orange County.

Michael
Hey Michael, I tried to go back in and make it multi-choiceable but no luck. Anyone know how to do this?

How about April 20th?

Hi Folks,
It looks like Gene and with luck, Vander, will be getting their smarts soon. What do you think about April 20th for our first meet-up? I have what I think is a fabulous idea that may satisfy those in North Co. and those who live South or East.

Why don't we start at Stone Brewing in Escondido for lunch, chill for a while while we digest our food and beverages (not smart to drink and drive) and then head to Coronado for a glass of champagne (or?) at the outside deck bar at the Hotel Del? I realize this is more about eating and imbibing, but what a fun way to see both ends of the county with a great group of smart folks!

How about a monthly meet? Too much? Just right? The we could do Julian, Balboa Park, etc. We could even do a "Screen on the Green" picnic in summer when the Museum of Art shows films outside in the park.

Ok, back to work for me.

That's right, I knew you had your car**the perils of pretending to work and goofing off at the same time...

I will be in Pahrump, NV that weekend. I help with the Baker to Vegas relay race every year. The race starts on the 19th near Baker and finishes in Vegas on the 20th. Next time? (I'll have my car this month - hopefully!)

I think we should do the Balboa to Coronado run and then next month do the north county to south county run. What say ye all.......

I'm cool with whatever ... it'd be nice to have everyone available (nscaler) - does the original date not work for you (Shanna - or anyone else?) ... your idea sounds great but I'm with Gene ... keep it simple for the first go 'round and then have the bigger cruises as time moves on.

The original date is fine. I just thought it might be nice to wait for more smart deliveries so more people would have a chance to participate. I am fine with whatever.

i agree with shanna...we should wait just a couple more weeks and use the time to attract more participants to the event, otherwise as of now it would be no more than 6-8 of us.. I was hoping we could show up the L.A. folks and stage the largest smart event to date!

That's fine, but even with 6 or 8, it'd still be fun. There's no reason not to at least meet for a little while - maybe even just meet for lunch someplace and have fun doubling up the cars in the parking stalls, then have a larger event as more people get deliveries.

I'm free for lunch whenever, so if anyone wants to meet informally let's just do it, whoever can make it, great, if not then there's the next time and more people. I'd be happy if it were just 2 or 3 of us! (any excuse to go eat ... lol ...)
I still haven't seen anyone else on the road.
