Smart Meets or Cruises in SD

Hey guys! are there any smart groups or meets in SD? I'm feeling kind of out in the blue regarding Smart groups in sd....

Check out: www.meetup.com/socalsmarties. We are the largest active smart car group with 431 members. We had a well attended event in the San Diego area in February and welcome more members to step forward and plan a meetup. We have had events from Central CA south to the San Diego area. I believe the San Diego Region is essentially defunct unless someone wants to revive it.

nice...yeah i usually spot some smarts here and there in sd, but never have seen some at the meets the i attend. last year i think i was the only smart at the socaleuro gtg in qualcomm!!!

There's been talk about getting smarts together, but anything is yet to materialize. Some suggested a central location, i.e., Mission Valley.

There's a group out of the Inland Empire that meet every second and fourth Sunday in Corona (?). It would be cool to meet with other smarts locally.

mission valley sounds good. im down to meet up during the week. im usually either in south sd or tijuana...but mission valley is a great place...the ikea parking lot has great lighting...

For a few months in '08 we had a bunch of us - up to 6 at a time - get together at cruising grand. I'm willing to show up again if anyone else is.

Granted not just Smarts, but has anyone thought about going out to the SoCal Euro meets once a month? Pretty sure they gather at in Kearny Mesa, last I checked it was at the Big K parking lot (Clairemont Mesa Blvd and Convoy) on the first Wed of each month, but I haven't been out to one since last year.

We're planning a run up to the Valley View casino buffet towards the end of September. Last time a few of us met at the dealer then met up with others in Escondido, before making it up to Valley View. Perhaps Saturday, September 22, or Sunday 23?
