Just joined the group and scanned through the threads. I've been waiting for mine a long time BUT! There is a way to get yours faster. You all know the economy sucks right now. Some people who ordered their car and when it arrived - they cancelled! So these cars go to immediate sale. I went for my test drive on Friday 3/28 and there was exactly the car I would have ordered, and then some for sale that day! I did not have my financine in place so I could not get it and it sold the next day. As of yesterday, they have one other one a yellow cabrillo. They got in a shipment Saturday and Ricardo said they expect another one this Saturday. All I can say is check with the center often - you might get lucky!

PS - these are often called Orphans and some place are charging to be on a waiting list. I did not find this at the San Diego center - it was first come first served.
We picked up an orphan yesterday at the LN dealership after being on the orphan list for a little over a week! They had two - the one we got (Passion Coupe) and one other (Cabriolet) that was already spoken for. We were so excited when we got the call since we've been waiting almost a year for our car. They had received a rather large delivery of cars over the weekend so it looks like deliveries are starting to pick up!
