We received the call from San Diego Smart Center yesterday. After about one year, my wife's '09 Passion arrived. It's white with a silver Tridion cell. We ordered the comfort package so it has a black leather interior. We did order the premium sound package, but decided to go with the dealer installed Kenwood navigation system (with bluetooth and sirius). We also ordered the factory alarm, fog lights, optional gauges (tach and clock) and took the 60 months 60,000 mile extended service plan, as well as floor mats and car cover. So at 2:00 PM we will have a new member of the family. Our new plates (MXAND99) are waiting at DMV, so if you are in RB and see us say hi. We also drive a '09 C300 Benz that we picked up in Europe on August 1st and a 71 MG Midget that had a ground up restoration -- between the MG and the smart we should be spending most of our non-working hours talking to people about our cars (nobody cares much about the Mercedes).

Yup, we picked it up at 2:00 and were out about 4:00. So far we've only driven about 40 miles and really like "Max", but he will take some getting used to as he drives very differently from any car we've ever owned or leased. So far the only issue is accessing the dial screen on the Kenwood. It's funny -- we have a bluetooth connection according to our cell but the unit in the car reads that we don't. It dials from the phonebook but will not enter the dial pad mode.

Only took cell phone pictures with the smart car cover on -- so far. My wife works on Juniper near Grand so you might see her as I see you live in Escondido. We also have two five month old mini-Rexs -- I mention that as you post a picture of your bunny. Samson and Shana are our fourth and fifth Bunnies and Max is the perfect car for them to go to the Vet (it's small enough for them to drive (LOL).
