FYI...While dropping my car off for servicing, 14 brand new smarts arrived at the San Jose smart Center. Congrats to those of you that will receive your car this week. See you on the road!

gdaym8t... would be interested in hearing how your service went at San Jose. I am thinking about changing my oil out at 3k which is coming up soon for me, and if they are good to go, I'm just going to bring it in to them vice doing it myself. Would definitely appreciate any feedback you have...

I had them look at the treaded "Engine Malfunction" problem rather than general service and maintenance. However, I very was pleased with their customer satisfaction since they provided me with a Cabrio loaner. The service dept was still completing work from the previous day.

Their service dept/facility is at another location. Therefore, you won't be able to interact directly with a service technician. While Elena and Steve are very accomodating, I'd prefer the "traditional" service dept approach in case I have additional questions.

Picked mine up the 21st, now I don't have to drive by every day to see if it came in! Yipee! Now have 300 miles on it. Next week a trip to so cal so I will either be beat up, or smiling from head to toe!

So far the ride on freeway isn't any worse than the Acura RDX or a BMW X3, except for the rain groove action, and that isn't even too bad!
