AFTER Lombard, the Sausalito meet-n-greet and drive up Mount Tam!

Hey folks, just trying to get a head count who's coming across the Golden Gate bridge with us for lunch, meet-n-greet, and (if you want..) followed by an afternoon cruise up Mount Tam!

The backstory on this whole thing ..

Yes that's $6 for parking, in addition to the $20 registration, and we're sorry they wouldn't give us a free ride.

Originally I thought the City of Sausalito was going to give us free parking out right, but it seems they can't..

So with the help of Mike Langford (City of Sausalito) and Jeff Chirazh (owner of Spinnaker Restaurant) we found a private lot next to Gabrielson Park, right smack downtown next to everything!

That kind of awesome parking comes at a premium, but with Kathy333's help we negotiated this down to $6 per car. You don't have to eat at Spinnaker's, but I'm sure they'd enjoy your business, as would any of the other fine places to eat and shop in Sausalito. You're more than welcome to pack your own picnic lunch and bring it with you, or run down to Molly Stone's which isn't far of a drive from where we'll be hanging out. Carl is getting a list of local restaurants for us and that will be in everyone's packet you get Sunday morning!

I would love to come to Sausalito meet and greet and the drive but not up to an early am drive to lombard street. What time are you all meeting up?

How about just parking at the Marin City lot, easy access and no tourist/downtown traffic (I lived there, familiar with how it can get).

That lot where Best Buy is is big and free..

I don't mind paying to park there i mean... I've taken a lot of my dates to the Spinnaker for dinner ;) it's a great place to eat and enjoy the view of the bay.. hehe...

But for lunch, I say.. head over to that WONDERFUL well known hamburger place!!! it's right across the street err.. forgot what that main street is called but yea.. mmmm this is pulled from my myspace...

We should be arriving en-masse around 11:30am

For the Mount Tam drive, we expect to leave the Sausalito parking area around 2:30pm (could be as late as 3:00 though, you know how these things go!)

If you have FRS/GMRS radios, please set to channel 4, subchannel 2 (that's channel 4-2, haha!)
