Was it a Cabriolet?

Might of been the same one I saw in southern Marin..

We've been on a cruise from Copenhagen to St. Petersburg with multiple stops before and after. So far, I spotted 2 in Copenhagen (both 451's), a 451 and a 450 in Stockholm, a Roadster and a ForFour in Helsinki, one 450 in St. Petersburg, and a 450 in Gdansk, Poland. I've added a few pics of some of them to my gallery. I had seen a ForFour in Greece last year that was black and white. The all black one we saw in Helsinki looks much better, IMHO.

There are lots of 450's up here in Canada, though not quite as many 451's on the road, surprisingly (well, at least not where I live in rural farmland!) however since the big price slash at the dealerships, there are more of them passing through town ^^

Haven't seen any ForFour's or smart roadsters though.. it's a shame they don't produce the roadsters anymore, that was my first experience of a smart car and they are mega-awesome fantastic

A "cabrio" by the way is a convertible.. seems to be the preferred synonym used by euro car makers

My li'l Smarty made it from Cape Cod, MA to San Diego, then to the Bay area w/many side trips in between. She's an '08 w/33k+ miles on her. To those wondering about buying the expended warrantee...do it!! My baby is in the shop, has been for a week (waiting on parts) and is going to cost me an estimated $1200.00 when done. I get her serviced as specified, take good care of her, but DO drive. I love, love love this car, but am not as confident of her ability to go the distance as I once was. Anyone else out there with lots of miles on? What's your experience?

Nice day at the Berkeley Kite Field today...

Parking for 28 cars and 3 of them were smart's ..

A Yellow/Silver Coupe, a Red/Silver Coupe with Michigan plates and my White/Black Cabrio...

Also had a Red one fallow me back to San Rafael ..

I see your in San Raphael and I'm in Sebastopol, do you know if there are Smart Car gatherings? It would be interesting to meet more Smart people and hear their stories.

Lots of smart gatherings, but nothing local. I think it's time we had another SF Bay Area get together, anyone interested....

Maybe something simple like a picnic on the Marina Green
or Crissy Field in San Francisco...

The two I did last year were, Long Beach in July and
Las Vegas in October....
