Bay Area sightings

Tonight I saw a Bumble Bee on North Main Street in Walnut Creek.
I was going to get the same color, but wasn't sure about the "yellow". It was a better yellow than I thought it would be. Loved it! I always get SO excited when I see a Smart. Can't wait for mine! (I configured a tomato - I mean, red). It's been exactly 90 days since I've configured, and NO news....

Saw a yellow/black cabrio on Van Ness going north at around 2pm this afternoon, I was on Broadway in my Black/Silver cab waiting to cross Van Ness at a light to go park my Smart at home in North Beach after getting a temp parking permit from the MTA...

Hope everyone in San Francisco is enjoying their smart cars. I'm looking forward to getting my car so I can grab a parking spot like the one I saw another fortwo in today.

Saw a White/Black/? today on Upper Happy Valley Road, Lafayette.
I was waving like crazy- no response from them.

Saw our friendly Twin Peaks bumblebee driving yesterday

There is a black/silver passion coupe usually park at the Fruitvale Farmer's Market in Oakland. It belongs to the owner of Saigon Wraps inside the Fruitvale Village. He owns a few nice cars like a new Range Rover. I see him alternate cars everyday. He said he was thinking about giving it away in a contest but he likes it so much he may decide to keep it.

Met my first "smart brother" at the local gas station in Los Gatos. Mine: red/blk/blk passion coupe His: rd/blk/red cabrio. He also owns an import so he and his wife have two!!! My wife and I are considering this as well. We argue (nicely) over who gets to drive the smart.

My work truck is a Ford F350 V-10. In the two weeks I've been using the smart to pick my son up from school and other errands I've saved a bundle. Looks like the gas savngs for us will pay for the car!!!

For those of you chomping at the bit keep an eye on Craigs List. I've seen a couple brand new going for cost (ok you have to pay sales tax again) but this is cheap compared to the wait.

No plates to identify us yet but honk if you see us in the South Bay!

saw a black cab on Gough this Sat, and another black cab this morning on maiden lane downtown, this one had some aftermarket wheels!

Saw a little tomatoey friend driving in San Bruno (I think that's San Bruno where Lowes is) - we were not in the Smart though.

Just saw someone in all black by the Costco at Coleman in Santa Clara.
