Bay Area sightings

While driving west on I80 through Emeryville today I saw a smart that looked very similar to mine. We waived and checked each other out.

Here's a photo looking from my black smart to another black smart.

We saw 2 smart cars yesterday.

First we saw a red/black at Bayhill Shopping Center in San Bruno (Mollie Stones, Starbucks, et al) parking next to a very interested Yamaha sport bike club gathering, and later that afternoon a silver/silver zipping up Fassler drive in the back of Pacifica.

On both occasions we pointed and gestured madly lol..

Piccola - Your's was a rare sight a few months ago. Now I'm seeing 2-3 in the area per day. Glad to see you in the neighborhood!

Ok, we did it. We bought our second Smart. Now in addition to the Red/Black/Black we also have a Black/Black/Black with shiny chrome rims! Life is good. Can't say I've run into anyone recently but I am keeping my eyes open.

Saw 3 in Sf yesterday!!!! Black/black on Mission St around 7pm. Silver/black on Van Ness around 7.30pm, Tomatoe on 25th St around 11 pm. Never seen 3 in one day before...great.

I saw one yesterday in Lafayette. How come every time I wave at one, the people seem oblivious? When I get mine in a week or two I will wave at everyone who waves at me!

We were coming home from Los Banos yesterday - our silver/black smartie was doing a good job of pushing our 37 foot Bounder motorhome up 101 near the 85 interchange when we were passed by a nice-looking blue/black coupe - we waved but couldn't see if they waved back. If that was anybody here - HOWDY!
