Hayward car show on June 7th?

WHAT:
MOASF (Mini club) is having their annual field meet/car show on the grass at CSU East Bay/Hayward, and this year they are opening it up to smart cars! yay! our first car show?!

WHEN:
June 7th which is a Saturday

WHO:
This show has been running about 20 years for British cars, and now they are open to pre-1980 European and Japanese cars, as well a special section for smart cars.

COST:
Free for spectators, show your car for $20, or sell and swap parts/etc for $20.. or do both, no extra fee ;) I plan on going no matter what. Its great to see all the old cars there, look at parts and swag for your car, eat yummy british food (like bangers and meat pies, etc!)

So who wants to go, show of hands, please? I hope we get at least as many cars as attended the Crissy Field meet

I do not know that I can spare the whole day, so I will not show the car, but will definately be there!

Can't recommend car shows enough! I think you'll be surprised by all the attention one or two smarts draw at a show, even when surrounded by a lot of "cool" cars. Enjoy!

If you haven't already registered for the field meet, time is running out (it's next Saturday!)

Well, for those that plan to pay the $30 at the door or can come but haven't decided yet, the Smart Owners Club of San Francisco is going to pay the entry fee for the first 10 smarts! woohoo!

We're doing this to build interest in the smart, SCOA, and of course the regional club. So if you're one of the first 10 cars to show up in a smart, you get in free!
