I went on Monday, but the signed NDA prevents me from describing what I saw.

I'll stretch a little and say I saw no new cars, and no new parts. I most enjoyed being able to talk with a German engineer about some of the features on our cars. He seemed to take a lot of pride in the car.

One of my issues has been door rattles on rough roads, he said the smart center would lubricate the doors. I told him we tried lubrication but thought the doors needed adjustment. He pointed out how to move the latch mechanism in the door to tighten the
fit and it worked!

On the edge of the door there are three fasteners surrounding the latch mechanism. Use a torx 30 driver to loosen all three. Now slide the whole assembly outward 1mm to 3mm and retighten the screws.

Test the tightness by closing the door. It should shut completely without too much effort, while still feeling and sounding solid. It may take a few attempts to get it tight without being hard to close.

In my case it completely eliminated the door rattles.
