Errrr......I'd really like to take a picture for my screen saver of Lombard St. full of smarts of every color....we'd need about 85-90 of em though.....so who's down??? Just wanna know who's interested....is there even 100 smarts in the bay area???
Trueno - I sent you a PM on this worthy effort. I'd like to help set it up, so count me in. And, yep, there are an adequate number of smarts in NorCal to fill Lombard for the photo. Bob
I'm thinking August 3rd or 10th, Sunday.....before noon because Lombard St. is eastbound and we'll get the best natural light for our pics...and August is historically the month with lowest chance of rain and mildest weather....too early and the fog hasn't burned off, too late and we start to hit the tourist and families...so i'm thinking meet up at 9-9:30 and get there around 10-10:30 for first crack of sunshine...then we can head out for a nice lunch....I'd like to RSVP so we can make reservations or at least let em' know how many to expect... any other thoughts, Ideas or comments are welcome...

Trueno - What are you shooting with? How will prints be available? I know an amature photographer in Sacramento who might be interested in shooting this as well!!
i'm not a photographer......I plan on shooting with my camera phone and my wife's sony t-9??? one pic for my phone and one for my desktop....then i'll probably post it up on image station and who wants it, clicks it.....but if someone has a more professional setup...then i don't mind letting them take the pictures....
Also, STARLORD, I'm plan on going to the Hayward thing....so if we can find time to organize and perhaps shoot the $#!+.......that'll be fun too....
Kathy, I think the colors should be random it'll be more colorful....but it'll also depend on how many is showing up.....
