lombard street

count me in!

this is a great idea. come talk to me at the hayward field meet this saturday, i'll be the white smart, black tridion, red interior, playing dvd's of some sort lol...

if we do this early morning, we can do a run through the city and hit photo-ops of several places before the traffic

oh, and beach chalet sounds like a great idea! they have plenty of seating and adequate parking either there or along the highway..

I plan on hunting you down at Hayward N E Wayz ....and so I guess we have a candidate for Lunch......now we need to see how many people are gonna show up and make reservations.....and whether or not we need a permit for this type of gathering.....

I agree with Carl242's idea. Can we turn this into a full blown rally consisting of a morning picture session, lunch a the beach and then maybe even an optional drive after lunch.

Good food & drinks, but even better is the company of all who shares the a common liking.

I know...I know...BS right?

What do you guys think?

They have a great view of the beach (and the lot full of smarts below), and they brew their own beer. It might be fun to have a parade of 100 smart's of many colours going down GGP!

Here's the restaurant info:

That's where the eight of us who were left from Meet And Greet #1 ended up, and there wasn't exactly anything in the way of parking on a Sunday afternoon. At least up by the windmill.........

Glad to see my idea of Lombard Street has some legs. I think it would need to be coordinated with the City somehow. Or done pretty early in the AM. Which brings the sunlight/lack of factor into play.

In any case, if we're around we'll come over.

Thanks for the "Welcome" Trueno 1. I've been on this website for months. I've been waiting for my car for over 13 months. I wonder if I hold the record in the Bay Area for the longest wait?
Yup, my license will be " WIDL CAR"

Hope you all have the Lombard Lumber after I get my car.......

This sounds like sooooo much fun. Count me in. If we do it the weekend of the 3rd, it can double as my (48th) birthday party.

Mapquest says it's a 10 hour drive and about $70 each way in gas. I may be in. Let's see if the effort can reach critical mass. I wouldn't want to travel that distance to be with just 7 other smarts.
