I have spoken to my photographer friend who has verbally comitted to do the shoot but he has yet to respond to any of my e-mails. Poor soul is still working so I'll give him some time but still confident he will do it. Looking forward to meeting everyone for the shoot on the 10th!! Anyone in the Sacramento Valley want to show up for this photo op?

Lunch is a fabulous idea, but I probably won't be able to stay longer than the photo shoot on the 10th :-(

Before a hoard of smarts descend on Lombard Street, someone should check with the city, if they haven't already.

Also, I'd like to know if those participating in the photo shoot will be able to get a high res copy of the image for personal use...?

On a sunday morning the parking would be easy around the Ferry Plaza Building. Maybe we can get a pic. with the bridge in the background... my vote is for the second place.

Fog City Diner is also on that street...

hey there, august 10th is a Sunday. that likely eliminates a drive through golden gate park since they usually open it up for bicycles only on sunday. just exploring other opportunities for a fun scenic drive and additional photo ops for those that want to make a full-on "run" of it

traditionally, the sunrise tour that the mini club does puts the starting point as treasure island. meet there @ 6:00-6:15am, leave promptly at 6:30am so that you wind your way towards Lombard street before traffic wakes up. is that too early? Here's some pics from an earlier run:

I am in contact with people who drew up the maps for this run.. once again i'd say thats purely optional, the main focus is the photo op on Lombard street, the 2nd most crooked street in the world! ;)

I'm a photographer and live a few blocks away, so I'll shoot it, my girlfriend will drive the car...

We could also make a video of the drive from the lead car looking back. I can bring a mount which will attach a camera inside the rear glass.
