lessismore, I see you're from Reno. I lived there for 30 years until moving to Eugene 1 1/2 years ago. Now it looks like I'm moving back and bringing my red/silver cabrio with me. Have you taken delivery of your car yet? Are there more Smarts in Reno? I've been wondering what kind of reception my car will have. It's perfect for "green" Eugene, but Reno is another world. I'm glad to see that I won't be the only Smart in town.

I am surprised to see 4-5 Smarts already delivered to Reno, I was expecting to be the only one, with the truck stop culture of this town. I have not seen a red Cabrio yet** just white and blue smarts, so maybe you'll have a unique one! The Sacramento dealer said he had quite a few orders from Reno, and would not be surprised if we got our own dealership at some point. The DDE estimates that I get mine before 7/22.

Wow, 4-5 Smarts there already. That's good news. A dealership would be even better news. I won't actually arrive in Reno until 6/6, but you can watch for me on the road anytime after that.

Welcome. Trueno1! Have you signed up with the chapter? Lots of great smarties in the greater Oakland area! There are plans for a second major chapter rally for some time in June (if all goes well), so we hope you can attend. What model smart do you own, or are you still waiting for yours? Give us an idea what color scheme, etc. - that way, we can be on the lookout as we drive around the area. NorCal is a great chapter!

Got a call from Niello Smart in Sac today** my Smart is on the lot, wahoo! Hope to get delivery to Reno next week.

Received my Smart Car today** about 1yr after $99 down payment. What a hoot! I'm going to go drive.....
