Welp, just for SF I'd say don't ignore the driveway rules because you are so small and fit in tiny spaces, observe the driveway access to stay out of trouble.
In general one rule of Smart parking though is not to pull all the way in to parking lot spaces, keep in line with the other cars or someone may run up on ya thinking the space is clear
