the san francisco smart club is going through some changes.. Christopher (StarLord, that's me!) has gotten married and moved out of the area to Alberta Canada!

Well.. Due to his excellent participation and contributions to the smart community, Larry Wu (Screaming Cow/LittoDevil) has agreed to take over as our fearless leader so I am thus passing the torch over to him!

That said, there should be some sort of party and celebration including, hmm, rides in the turbo powered screaming cow?

How do we get on a list to find out about activities in the NoCal area. My husband and I both have Smarts, mainly because he wouldn't drive the PINK one that I wanted. His is blue! Mary Ann

Haha Thanks Chris I actually didn't see this thread until now... so many things going on.. Chris I promise I wasn't ignoring you! In the month of Dec. I want to create a plan for the club to start off fresh in Jan 2010! I am currently all ears for those who are still cruising this forum!

Some ideas is the usual monthly meeting, gathering, dinners. A weekend drive once a month probably 2 weeks after the monthly meeting or dinner... and a tech session for those interested?

it's cold here ...

I think -20 C tonight, but the smart still starts up and runs great, it's awesome!

The car looks very strange with stock 15" wheels though, after having the 17's on for so long.. you see I am using the stock metal rims with the continental all-season tires for winter time here!

What else is new, hmm, first sunday drives with MBCA? anyone still going to those, if so I can keep on posting them, thought people may have lost interest in going on drives with those garage queens ever so slowly ... as nice as gullwings and SL's are to see on the road, it seems our gang is into more spirited driving! :-)

And... products! Other than turbo kits, Larry are you going to sell the car covers, sun shades, etc. that I was doing through the socsf.com website? Ah so much to catch up on! And I want videos posted to youtube each month, so I can live vicariously, remembering the warm California sun while I freeze my bum off up here in the cold North of Canada! LOL!
