the Smart Centers that are painting body panels are awesome, If they were smart they would offer up tons of panels pre-painted for customers, I know if my dealer had a set of lime green ones they would have been sold at the same time I picked up my car.
I saw that at the Smart Center 5/24. Those are custom orange painted panels. I think they wanted $24k for it.

Yep, me too! That was a very good looking car. The sales person said they were almost unwilling to sell it because it made their show room look so good. They sold it the next day though, as they ended up selling all of their orphans including their test drive vehicle.
When I went into the dealer to to check on getting on the orphan list the orange car was one of the two they had available. I really liked it, but being a Dodger fan I just couldn't bring myself to buy an orange and black car. I opted for the other one available which was the white cabrio with black and tan interior. Within 5 minutes of me saying I'll take this one, the dealer had put a for sale sign on the orange one. It was purchased by a couple of guys, but I didn't get the opportunity to talk with them as I was busy with my own deal. The dealer told me it was one of their showroom models that he customized in Giants colors. The orange definately grabs your attention even more than your average Smart.
