awesome!
im using a e-hitch but its actually a curt hitch. they list it for $149 but free shipping starts at $150, so if you order 1 ft of wire to go with the hitch , it is free shipping.
i have a link to them on my bolt cover web page.

COOL!

The wheels are turning......a seat on that...some decorations... and you've got an AWESOME parade vehicle for your town's Christmas parade.

I haven't weighed it yet, but it is pretty light. Two people can pick it up easy. I played with the placement of the camping gear, trying to get a balance between car & wheel. Too forward and the wheel skips over bumps, then starts pitching side to side (Disturbing). Too far back and it sways the car around corners like the tail wagging the dog. I settled at center at about 60% forward from the rear, which I had read or heard somewhere and it works good. Bracket weight I guess to be about 60-70# fully loaded.

The tail light is a genuine Allstate single wheel tail light I scored some time ago.

The bolts are tow hook bolts, bolted into the rear bumper frame with spacers. Those bolts threads seem to be specific and unique to smarts. Grrr... the rest of the attachment bracket is custom made.

Petep99..........O.K. Now if you can show me a way to fit a Great Dane, Boston Terrier, & Chinese Crested into the back of my smart, I'll be in business!!! Perhaps I should have said "STUFF" instead of fit! That would probably be more appropriate! Really cool setup! Nice to see that you take your Chow with you!

Could be. I haven't heard one way or the other, nor heard anything from smart directly about towing limits. It's so light I did not even worry about it and just forged ahead. Glad I did.

The brackets are bolted directly to the frame so tongue weight would be a misnomer in this case (there is no tongue per se) but I get your meaning. It's still definitely under 100# in any case per my previous post.

Cheers!

Pete

Can't say I've ever seen one of these either, though there have been times I wanted to carry a bit more with the smart! You might also want to share this with the smart trailer/towing thread:
