The San Francisco Bay Area Section (SFBA) and Sacramento Section of the Mercedes Benz Club of America (MBCA) will be hosting StarFest 2008, a national event for all Mercedes brand vehicles, including Smart and Maybach owners.
This is two weekends away and the track events are next month, so still plenty of time to make arrangements for those that want to participate.
It will be held September 26 to October 1st, 2008. Including the following:
- Concours d’elegance on Treasure Island with a backdrop of the San Francisco skyline;
- A rally/drive over the Golden Gate Bridge and through the wine country to Willows in the California Central Valley;
- Three days of track events (autocross, accelerations runs, time trials, defensive driving school) at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows.
- Special guest speakers include Ernest Lieb, CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA, also from the M-B Classic Center USA will be Michael Kunz and Nate Lander, also from the Classic Center
