I have to say I had a cracked rim for my previous car repaired with them which included repairing the rim and refinishing the wheel's exterior around the repair. The repair was EXCELLENT, but they had my wheel for weeks on end, much passed the estimate of "a couple of days". For a while I got worried they'd lost it into the abyss. Not sure about leaving my whole car there for any period of time.

Carl, your experience seems consistent with my and other people's experience. I've had a bent rim reparied and lip repolished 2 times. It seems their standard answer for turnaround times is "2-3 days", which never happens. Knowing this, I started calling them daily on day #2 for updates. It still took about a week each time.

Personally, I'm OK with the wait, since they did good work for me.

I think the key is to keep the pressure on them.
