Wine Country British and European Car Show - Aug 23, 2009

Let's get a big showing of smart cars to this year's event!

This is a notice of the only North Bay Area Wine Country British and European Car Show in 2009 (and for as long as we can remember, LOL).

A dedicated site is now up and running. The car show is intended for all makes and models, new or classic, trailer queens, daily drivers, and works in progress.

We will have food on-site, wine tasting, a live jazz band, and vendors in a grassy field under towering oaks on the Fred Stoke Ranch just south of Windsor (about 65 miles north of San Francisco).

You may download a registration applications from here, this year is sponsored by the Redwood Empire Mini Enthusiasts club:

You can make payment online using PayPal so long as you fax or mail a completed application as well (email I guess would be fine too..)

Finally, please feel free to post this on other car-related blogs, websites, etc. The REME club is making an attempt to post a link to every area British and European Car Show on our site, so if you have an upcoming event you would like them to link to, please let them know, in fact if you give them 150 flyers they will stuff them into the packet show attendees are getting.

This is a reminder for everyone of the upcoming Wine Country British & European Car Show in Santa Rosa on August 23, 2009. It will be a great show with live jazz and cool cars. It would be great to have a big showing of Smart Cars at the show... give the MINIs some competition in numbers.

Hi folks, I see one *one* smart listed in pre-registration... there MUST be more people going to this, it's a very nicely planned event and should be great fun, great music, good food, and the chance to kick tires and BS all day with your fellow car enthusiasts... hehe...

Anyone else? I can't make it myself, since I am packing up stuff to move this weekend.. but this car show is the talk on several other forums around the bay area (particularly Minis, who seem to be not only sponsoring the event this year but have a large turn-out of cars both classic and modern variants)

You can pay at the door, check the website mentioned earlier for info and directions to the show, or use paypal and just print out your receipt and bring it with you, they will get you setup at registration check-in..
