roadster kit car

While visiting the Darmstadt smart center here in Germany, I cme across this cool kit car based on the smart roadster.

It was listed at 34,000 euros

It was next to a smart crossblade. Hard to get a good picture of it.

If you haven't learned yet, Michalak is a big smart roadster modifier over in Europe. They probably made the car.

Thats only $51,000 USD. We are going to be here 3 years, I'm looking to get a roadster, but not that much money.

When smart made them it had costed them about 18,000E to build each roadster and they sold them for about 13,000E. Not good profit, NOT ANY!

I've been trying to find a better picture of the C7 but can't, anyway, the kit is based around the 450 for2, as it's easier to get an older cheaper donor car as there are loads of for2's about, Smarts r us in Nottingham used to have one in the showroom, it was not the best finished off Kit car I have ever seen, not sure if they still make it as it was about 5 years ago I originally saw it, and have never seen one on the road, only as a demo car.
