I tried, but no one wanted to have it shipped, even though I would have paid the price for it.

Who makes the exhaust? it doesn't look like the standard Brabus?

Hoppoz,

You are correct, the exhaust is not a Brabus it is a stainless steel Janspeed custom one made in the UK. It makes a significant difference to the power delivery, sounds great and can look fantastic when it fits the valence properly, mine does not! The Brabus exhaust was an excellent fit but did restrict the exhaust flow a bit too much. I have Janspeed charge cooler pipes too in addition to several other induction, engine, brake and general mods.

From what I understand none of the Roadsters can be legally titled in the US, even if DOT and emission conversion is done by G&K. They aren't on the list of vehicles that can be imported.

A local dealer in Portland, OR, (Ron Tonkin GT), bought about 25 of them from Smart a year or more ago, only to find out afterwards that he couldn't sell them for street use. Some have been sold for off road use only, a.k.a. track use.

Hello Jwight. I read that you said that Beverly Hills Motorsports imported a few. How did you they do it? I am currently stationed in Germany and would LOVE to import my Roadster. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

I too would like to bring a Roadie back to the US with me (along with my 450 Brabus Coupe.).
