I have a forfour smart car and the power steering go`s on and off when it feels like. This all happened when my wife flattened the battery. Its been to a Merc dealership and they found nothing, can someone help PLEASE!!!!!!
Nope, everytime I tow my Smart behind the motorhome, the battery has to be disconnected; after the tow, I just reconnect the battery and within seconds every thing comes back the way it was a few hours ago.
How long have you had your forfour? It is under warranty I assume and the dealer should be doing more research. Being a new model some sorting out time is to be expected.
The forfour was not sold in the US so we really don't have much info on it. One of the EU forums should be able to help you. You might try a local Mitsubishi dealer also, as the early forfour was basically a reworked Colt.
Oh! And here I'm thinking that Australia had the new car already! I should have waited. My father's favorite line comes to mind;
"It is better to say nothing and be thought of as a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt". Geesh.
