17"s on my 451 pics at last!

Hi, fitted my 17"s last weekend, went on no truoble at all, i used 3 to 5 stud adapters 20mm at the front and 25mm at the rear, the alloys are
7.5X17 Fox FX-1 ET45 with 195/40/17 Toyo PX4 all round,
(but i think it needs lowering a bit so going to get some H&R springs which lowers it 15mm at the front and 35mm at the rear that should be bob on)
out of curiosity i weighed the alloys the original Passion 15"s were 2 stone
the 17"s were 2 stone 8 pounds i dont think thats to bad, i cant feel any difference in performance, the handling`s better and they look great. I have posted before and after pics so you can see the differance.
While i was in the modding mood i also fitted my colour coded fuel and tow hook caps, my billet axel end caps and my pressed aluminium number plates, all in all a busy Saturday but worth it i think.

Nice tire choice; sold here as the P4 high performance all season tire. Had them on our WRX wagon - they are great tires wet or dry IMHO.

Both fitments probably work fine, depends on what your definition of "best choice" means - 215/35 might grip better, while 195/40 might ride better, but they are both pretty close.

That's about $500 for the adapters.. Sure makes our September Sale price of $270 for four adapters, hardware and instructions look even better!

Cheers,

Johnny
