That's what I've got for a spare.

I expect to get Ultraseal installed this weekend, at which point I will no longer need a spare. I'm considering whether I want to try to find a buyer for a single, unused, wheel/tire ... or buy three more for a set. The hitch with that plan is my spare is a front and if I were to buy a full set I'd probably want to go rears all around. And, I'd have an OEM set with 14K+ miles to get rid of. Arrgggggggg!

The wheel/tire cost me around $180 shipped. Undecided as of now.

Did you buy a different size tire. What would be the explanation for the performance difference unless you had some inbalance situation.

I went with the 16" with the 195/45/16 front and 215/40/16 rear yokohama s-drive tires the wider tires make a big big big improvement in handling it takes corners way faster now. I am working on a larger sway bar now to make full use of the new rubber. A late model focus rear sway bar looks close and may work on the front of the smart but i have to do a little more measuring to be sure but we will see. I just ordered a set of these (15") from Tirerack with a set of Blazzak WS60s...should make a decent winter rim as long as I avoid the crateresque potholes around here...

Funny, I just today ordered the same rims, however, with the Blizzak LM-18 tires. I maintained the separate front/back wheel sizes.

TireRack call to let me know the LM-18 tires were too narrow to fit on the wheels and I could go with the large wheels all around or opt for the Rial Le Mans wheel instead. I wanted to keep the OEM wheel sizes so that's what I ended up doing.

I guess now we won't be embarrassed if we one day meet up (kind-of like going to a party in the same dress)!
