Are 450 rims the same as for 451?

I will be traveling to Canada and was wondering if I could pick-up a couple of old rims to use for spares, anyone know if 450 and 451 rims are the same?

Which rim has the more positive offset? If it's the 450 rim, then it would fit on a 451 with spacers, right?

If the 450 has a more negative offset, then you could machine the back pad (assuming the offset isn't too negative) to fit it onto a 451.

tbone,

here is a site that has a list of all of the Smart and Brabus wheels, their widths, offsets, PCDs and recommended tire sizes:

Evilution - Smart Car Encyclopaedia

I do believe it is sort of sectioned off. Most of the information for 451 and forfour (454) wheel information is at the bottom. The bulk of the list is 450 wheels.

Any time you want to know anything about the 450, just go to the model go to the Smart Car Model Discussions -> original smart fortwo section of this forum. Tons of knowledge already catalogued there.
