not many choices in the US right now. Tirerack is the only place i'm aware of that sells a wheel (only one and it's a 15") there are a few wheel choices are available in Europe, but not many just yet since it's a different offset than the 450. smartrus.com and berlin-tuning.com are a couple of choices. i inquired, it appears to cost about $100US per wheel for shipping from the EU.

Doesn't Brabus have wheels for the smart?

If not you can always screw on an adapter plate (I would never do that myself) which would open up a lot of opportunity for more common wheels.

on what? from what i've heard, Smart USA has not approved any wheels for aftermarket sales yet. wouldn't seem to make sense that one of their own dealers is voiding the warranty 1 month after they began delivering cars?

yes, but they are not readily available. even hard, if not impossible to get in Europe.

wheel spacers are shady at best. i would never use those on any car of mine.

after market parts only void the warranty if the part causes the failure.....
ie: bigger tires cause bearing failure... but if the rear hatch stop working its not void cause the car has 17's.... that and they have to prove the rims cause the bearing failure as well

"Shady at best" PLLLLEAZEEE!

As long as you are using the right length and material studs and lugs, and the spacers are hub centric, they work great. I have raced with them forever, not a problem, Standard on the older Porsche 930, I have them on my Mini and my Lotus Elise and plan on using them on the Smart too.
