Bridgestone Potenza RE-11s?

Anyone running Bridgestone Potenza RE-11s on their smart?

Bridgestone Potenza RE-11

I was thinking of putting these on Rial 15 x 6 wheels, either 195/50R15 all around or 195/50R15 front and 205/50R15 rear.

appreciate any feedback.

if only Bridgestone/Fusion-X made tyres for the stock wheels . . . I loved those tyres in my old car

the side wall rating is WAY to high... they will be too hard for such a light vehicle.

I think these are the best street legal performance tires you can buy, I use them on my STS Miata for autocross in the street tire category.
I don't recommend you use these on a 6 inch wheel, these 195's are much wider than they claim, you need at least 6.5" wheel from Genius. These are the ultimate if you want street legal grip but may be a little hard core for some.
Also bad idea abut using 195 front and 205 rear, the overall diameter is different enough to cause the stability control to go haywire.
If you use them at all go 195 all around and 6.5 inch minimum wheel with.

thanks.

i have run yoko A048s and AD07s on my elise and have been happy with both. these tires seem be somewhat in between those two tires in terms of performance (great dry grip *and* wet grip).

tirerack lists acceptable wheels for the 195s as 5.5-7" in width

these may be overkill for the smart, any other tire suggestions?
