I really like those wheels too. The 3 spoke go well with the Smart, I remember 3 spoke wheels as an option on the 450. I saw these on e-bay also, and am surprised no more have been offered. I would have bid on them, but the seller would not divulge the weight, which I think would be important on a car with limited HP. I looked on WSI web site and could not find them listed, who is the manufacturer?

Sport Edition wheels are imported from Asia exclusively by Tire Rack. The 15-16" models sell for $59-$99 (most styles).

At $800, you're being ripped off big time. They have to get them from Tire Rack. If you have a deposit , get it back (unless you want to overpay by $400-500).:kicknuts:

Hmm, Tire Rack doesn't list or have these smart-specific wheels. Numerous web sites list a larger selection of Sport Edition tires than Tire Rack offers.

well my thought was an easy deal for $800 for a nice set of wheels for my smart that i think are cool. if the tire rack sells them also, then great . this way buying from a reputable shop, i dont have to worry about things like getting them shipped, mounted, if they get scratched during mounting, vibration issues cuz of the hardware not being included and all the running around to get them on the car when you order anything online these days. i have no idea of the weight of the wheels, but know that they are aluminum and maybe they are a few pounds give or take from the stocks..

tire rack is a door-to-door orgasm of tire and wheel greatness. used them many times on my VWs and my S4. tires came mounted & balanced on the wheels, all shipped nice & bubble packy, from the nice UPS man.

jack the car up, throw 'em on, and you're rollin' in style in no time. if TR has a better price, you can't lose.

The only way you can lose is to pay more than is necessary. unless, that is, you like doing that kind of thing.

no doubt i am a fan of saving money,

and have heard some good things about the tire rack. but in arizona its going to be 114 today, ill pay a little extra for the reassurance and the service to know its right.

Not sure I like these wheels.
I was considering ordering these from
www.Supremepowerparts.com

They are also coming out with exhaust for the car :)

I like the front spoilers on those 450's, I wonder if they have them for the 451's?
