spare tire

I bought a front wheel rim from the dealer, and brought it over to the local discount tire guys, I now have a spare tire that has a nice cover over it and it sits in the trunk. If I really need the space, I leave the spare tire home. the trunk with the spare tire and the front seat serves as room for plenty of groceries. Rarely do I need to take the tire out, or take my pickup for packaged items.

I purchased a pair of stock rear tires and wheels and mounted them on the front. They work well with no clearance issues and best of all, the understeer has esentially disappeared. The car feels more responsive and the looks are improved. Cost was $400 dollars but well worth it. I also replaced the stock wheel lugs with a new set of chrome lugs.

Just to be sure of what you did, you bought two 175/55 R15 tires and put them on two new rear wheels that come on the passion or cabrio and put them on the front in place of the smaller tires/wheels that were there. This now lets you rotate tires and have a spare to keep and one to sell. Bravo!!
Thanks for the info.....
