We carry the Genius wheels in stock, offer the lowest price guarantee on them and have installed more of these wheels than anyone. With that here is what we know.
The 15" wheels are designed for those that would like to have a custom wheel look, but do it on a budget. You would utilize your stock tires and due to that your only investment would be the wheels. While the look improves, the ride and handling stay the same.
The 17" wheels are designed for those that want a custom look and at the same time would like improved handling. The wheels are much wider than stock and provide you with much better handling.
We would not recommend you do a 15/17 combo. If you want a combo than an option is to go with a Carlsson set up 16/17. You could also go with a 16" set of Team Dynamics.

I'm sorry to say you are totally wrong on this one. the ride improves by using the wider tires from the rear and or going with new rubber all around. the 15 inchers are
more comfortable on the street than the 17s as they can afford more distance between the rim and the tread. I have the Genius 15 x 6.5s with OEM rear tires on my smarty and the ride did improve in many aspects... I'll also say the perhaps the 17s will control lateral movement more than the 15s.. but increase ride harshness.
In the end its all about choices and budgets.. and with the Genius you have two choices in size and two choices in colors... not bad! OH by the way the 15 x 6.5s are a pound lighter than the stock 15 x 5.5s..... GENIUS!!!
