Great deal on winter tires at Tire Rack

I just thought I'd let everyone know that Tire Rack is offering a close-out special on the Blizzak LM-18 in fortwo front/rear sizing.

Only $49 each for the fronts and $64 each for the rears. That's roughly 30% to 40% off the original Tire Rack pricing. They're currently listed as "In stock" but I'm not sure how many they have in inventory.

I ran these last year on All Ball, and he was like a little white and black snowmobile. Definitely the best winter tire value you'll find at the moment.

About an inch on the deck railing and since its currently 32 deg out, the roads are clear. But that Salt isn't going to do any good Thursday when the foot of snow is blowing around in 5 deg weather. I did get to try out the Blizzaks this morning before the salt trucks gout out. It was enjoyable

Update: My weather alarm just went off, No more Winter Storm Warning:woohoo

But wait, Now I'm under a Blizzard Warning

There is maybe half in inch out there now, but the roads are getting slick, and I'm happy I have these on!! The TC/SC is still ultra sentisitive but, the car is much easier to handle than before.

Example, before with the stock tires when you'd go around the corner and give it a little gas the rear end would pretty much always slide a little before TC/SC kicked in, and now it doesn't slide hardly at all. Very happy so far!

I purchased mine around Thanksgiving and now after a foot of snow, I'm glad I did! My little smart does an awesome job on the slippery stuff and the esp is everything it should be.

Maybe we get another foot tonight. Timing is everything!

No real snow to speak of so far in my area of NJ, but I really need to switch over to the Blizzaks as soon as I have the chance. Hopefully I can do it this weekend, but I wanted to get a coat of wax on the wheels before I install them.

I don't want to get caught with a storm coming mid-week and have to install them the night before in the freezing cold with a drop-light next to me. I did buy a hockey puck yesterday to use with the jack though.

I got a set of RIALS with the Blizzaks. What a smooth running tire! Much nicer than the Continental OEM tires.

We had some snow here in PA a week or so ago and so far no problem.

What a great deal. Less than $900 for 4 RIALS, 4 Blizzaks, 4 TPMS and 4 Road Hazard (what the heck, why not?). Ordered on Friday and at my door on Monday.

I'm set!
