These are nice looking. $16.99 for a set of four, but what I find weird is I don't see the bolt. I'm confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's another one that is 12MM x 1.50 thread (yet you still don't see the bolt). $22.41 for four.

Those are lug nuts, the poster needs anti-theft lug bolts. Also, for the stock wheels and a few aftermarket offerings they need to have a ball seat.

Every car I've ever owned and ever changed a tire on have bolts on the axle side of the tire and nuts on the outside. The nuts are removed with the tire iron. The Smart is different! Boy would I have been surprised if I had to change my own tire to find - surprise! - bolts coming out rather than nuts coming off.

Learn something new every day, I guess.

They have an application guide, but the Smart isn't listed. I tried calling the company but they didn't answer the phone. Here's the PDF application guide.

http://www.gorilla-auto.com/pdf/GAG10.pdf

Ah NEVERMIND the link, that PDF file is for nuts, not bolts.

Oh, see I've had the complete opposite experience. Every car that I've changed the tire has bolts (I always wondered why they call them lug nuts when they are bolts, but now I know). Okay, so I'm looking at the wrong parts. I need bolts, not nuts.

Ah, here we are...now I'm not going crazy. I see the bolt!

So they've got 4 sizes in 12mm x 1.50 with ball seat.
48023N 2.50" long, 1.55" thread length
48172N 2.04" long, 1.10" thread length
48175N 1.94" long, 1.00" thread length
48176N 1.75" long, 0.80" thread length

Now I need to go measure. :P

McGard Link

I ordered and installed a set of McGard locks for my Brabus wheels. Yeah they're 3-lug wheels but the thief doesn't think about that when he's ripping you off - he just sees "SHINY".

Here's a link: Wheel Locks - Bolt Style - McGard: Innovative Security Products

Regards,

Dan

P.S. the Les Schwabb tire store that ordered them for me said that Gorilla did not have a set that would fit a smart.

If a thief wants your wheels or tires then whether it's locking lug nuts or bolts they aren't going to stop him. It's false security.
These locking fasteners only make problems for owners who lose the key socket to remove them. That happened to me but I was able to remove the locking nut anyway.

Who but another smart owner would want your wheels anyway?

In your picture, are those wheels the new ones? How are you liking the crossblade rims? From where did you purchase them? Do you mind my asking how much they cost? Trying to find a set for my 450

I love the wheels. What a difference in handling. Got them from tire rack with s-drive tires [the 16" size they said] shipped to my shop in orlando $880 Bob.

As SPARTPLUG stated, those are the Sport Edition SM3's, not the factory Crossblade wheels. They're a really good deal, at only $85-$89 per wheel for the 15" versions.
