I can't imagine wanting that little rubber between the pavement and the rims. Any good pothole, speed bump or road hazard becomes a real threat. Not a wise move at all. Frankly, I would think that a 14" wheel with a 'taller' tire might offer more protection and a slightly softer ride on rough roads. Granted, we drive on cobblestones a lot and, in rainy season, potholes can be big enough to swallow a Smart.

I am waiting for the knockoffs - maybe by Xmas. The Lorinsers are HOT!!! but I am already putting together a 150bhp turbo.
