Anyone interested in going in on a group buy on those Lorinser Speedy wheels?

I'd be interested. Do we get a significant discount through a group buy?

Just a thought at this point. I think if we get enough people interested, be worth a try.

You won't see much of a discount, me thinks.

I don't see what all the hype is. For $2400 you can find yourself in a nice set of 3-piece wheels made how you want them.

That'll be nice. Who makes them?

custom made 3-piece for 2400$?
that'll be cool! in germany the minimum for such a set is about 4000€ and more! in the actual exchange about 6200$...

Lorinzer speedy rims are nice, but 6200 for custom rims? I would rather get some regular $100-$150 rims, tires, a stereo for about 2600 and probably have my car look just as nice, hell for the extra 3600 I save, I'll get an exhaust, body parts and still come out cheaper than a set of rims with no tires on yet.

that's it! this is the reason, why my wheelset (rims + tyres) where about 1200€ (1850$) - ok - my stereo is a littlebit more expensive... ;)
if i win in the lottery (damn - the 8 million jackpot yesterday didn't go to me again ;)), then i'm going to let build my very own rims - but when does this ever happen?
