A/M Wheel Search

Hi Smarties:

A little bit new at the SMART part hunt game. Anxiously awaiting my Cabriolet delivery in next few weeks/months like many. Looking high & low for A/M alloy wheel alternatives to the ok but ordinary stock 12 spokers from the dealer. There has to be a US source for 16" or 17" 3 lug design to fit the Smart ForTwo's. Dealers so far appear pretty useless in this area, so I'm turning to the brother/sisterhood of Smart Folks in this InfoPortal for answers. I do find much available in the British & Euro markets (plus $hipping ouch!). Seems a shame so few vendors/distributors are quickly jumping on the SMART equipment bandwagon here in the good 'ol USA.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance to all you "smart people"!
BH ;-)

The problem may be that there are simply not enough smarts in the US market yet to justify the domestic (or international) production of 3 lug wheels.

I just bought these. 17" x 7.5, 112MM bolt circle 35MM offset. As soon as I get my car, (due in about 2 weeks) I'll make my adaptors. I'll post some installed pics in the future. I think they'll look pretty sweet!!
