My new rims

So I finally got my rims. I did have some bad news about the TPMS, they did not sit well with the lip of the rim, so I chose not to install them. I might find an identicall Mhz unit that works with it, but for now I will roll without them

Driving 16x7s totally changes the ride at highway speeds. It is so stable, I can even take my hand off the wheel and it wont get squirrely.

I used 205/45/16s on these and I am going with the lowering job because I want the back spacing removed along with a front tuck. I used the 15mm H&R spacers. There is a difference in speed but I think it came out to about a 3% speed differential. However I checked my GPS and my odometer against each other and they match up at 70 mph.

I purchase some metallic blue lugnut covers and it does match well with the blue center covers and the satin silver paint. Hope you guys like this setup.

They are the Compomotive Sports MO1672s. They are a UK based company with an office in the USA in Pennsylvania. They have other models that you can get. They also offer staggared offsets because the rear setup with the Smart Car, but I chose to use a spacer. They have them in gold, white, black, powdered charcoal, with different center caps to match.

Call up their USA office if you want to get some rims or if you have questions. They are customs, because they can edit the offset accordingly, depending on the rim (so they arent that cheap). Call up Alan Paxton at the Pennsylvania office.
