Need advice on TPS ASAP

Hey,
I was unable to find any 17s I like (I found some Albas and Quantum Tech, but didn't like any of them) and I don't want to spend more them $1500 for wheel/tire package. So while I'm waiting for new rims I decided to powdercoat my factory rims (black center with red lip).
I took wheels to the tire shop. Guy at the shop took the tires off, but refused to touch TPS monitors. He was saying that he doesn't want to break them and how they are expensive. So I took them off myself.

Now I have a question, I didn't mark them when I removed them. I'm assuming that they can go on any rim (they not front or rear rim specific).
Am I right?
Also I noticed that THREE of the sensors is marked with orange dot and ONE of the valves cores is red. Will I run in the problems installing them back?
Any advice from anyone who took TPS monitors off and installed them back. I will have my rims back on Sunday, so I really hope I will have some feedback before then.
I will post pictures of the new wheels once they installed.

Thank you.

At east you have a 25% chance of getting the red core back in the correct spot. I'd bet the red or green variance is based upon what was in the box as it came down the line at the assembly point, not that they produce a difference in function.

cubefx, here is my experience with TPS and i think all TPS systems work the same. I have 2006 Honda Ridgeline that i changed the stock wheels out for some after market wheels and i installed the oringinal TPS in the new wheels and the system adjusted to what TPS is in what wheel or location as you drive. Hope this helps.

Let us know what you find out! And when you do, remember . . . we're no longer using cover sheets on the TPS reports.

Very basic unsophisticated safety system... I bet the red core is just different color as I see not uniqueness to the other three..

The system does NOT care what corner any unit is transmitting from as it can not tell you WHAT tire is low pressure

My only experience has been to purchase a complete new set of monitors from a third party supplier (Fast Eddy in Canada) and have them installed in steel rims by the dealer in Bloomfield Hills for my winter tires. The dealership didn't seem to know a whole lot about them either, back in January, but everything seemed to install just fine and everything got adjusted so they warning light was not on. I was worried when I switched back to the summer tires, which I did myself, thinking I might have to fiddle with some buttons so the monitoring system would recognize the other set of sensors, but everything went very smoothly and I didn't have to do a thing.

LOL

Why not just call the dealer and ask them?
