I sold one of the front tire/wheel/tps packages from mine and kept the other for spare. Bought two new rear rims and had all four powdered. Bought two new TPS from Tire Rack, I think $72 each. Installed in new rims, put new Michelins 185/60-15's on all four. Inflated fronts at 26, rears at 30, re set the TPS switch on the dash and all is well. I don't think these are rocket ships and all that sofisticated.

Data I have is that they are sided F to R, L to R
I switched L to R on the front and the alarm continued to go off even after resetting the dash switch.

I bought a set of take off wheels that came without the TPS. I ordered sensors from Flying Tiger, and installed 4 random sensors on 4 random wheels. Either I got incredibly lucky or it doesn't matter which one goes where. Not sure which.

RandyZimmer.... I can tell you for a fact that they do not have any way to know where they are on the car.... if you just took off a Front right and left rim with no dismount of tire or air pressure change then you did not even need a reset...

I already took off, hand washed, hand waxed and deliberatly put back on opposit sides all 4 tire rim assys...no issue with TPS at all

Can't explain it, just happened 3X until I switched L to R.

This frame has a different designation for each corner:

Thank you all!!!

Hey guys,

Finally got wheels back on the car. I believe that TPM location is irrelevant or I just got very lucky.
I mounted TPM sensors on the rims with torque wrench @ 8nm (thank you SmartCarGeek). Mounted tires with 28 PSI (both rear and front) just to make sure that sensors work. After driving for two minutes TPM light come up. Then I adjusted tires to the correct pressure (36 PSI rear/ 29 PSI front) and now everything works just fine.

Thank you.
