They don't match up the blizzaks with the car. And they may have issues with buying 2+2 . They give a $50 gift card when you purchase 4 and only want to sell them in sets of 4.

The system recomends 155/60R15 Pirelli Winter 190 Snowcontrol Blackwall

Any thoughts folks?

I had no issues ordering my Blizzak LM-18's last winter in the same sizes as listed above.

This note just came up
Tire Rack and all tire manufacturers recommend that winter / snow tires only be installed in sets of four. Online orders of fewer than four winter / snow tires may result in a follow-up phone call from one of our product specialists to verify that your new tires will match those currently installed on your vehicle.

Are you only ordering two or a full set of four?

Sock Monkey...

"The Blizzak LM-18 Performance Winter tire was developed to combine good snow and ice traction with European-style winter performance for drivers who desire winter traction on dry, wet and snow-covered roads. The Blizzak LM-18 is currently only available in 145/65R15 72T and 175/55R15 77T sizes intended for smart fortwo cars."

TireRack

Same sizes in the WS-60, of which I ordered a set w/ Rials and TPM's

It will be a set of 2+2 using stock rim sizes. So 4 snows but not a true set of 4

I think, Haven't made up my mind yet

I believe that is because the default is 4 on the snowies.

But you can order 2/2 staggered, and the guy will prolly follow up anyway just to be sure. "Roger" called me to be sure I was getting what I needed... great customer service.

Oh, BTW... For you folks out West... the $50 AMEX cash card is only for tires purchased by Oct 09 that are in stock. Mine had to be trucked from IN to NV, otherwise pay the add'l shipping from IN. The guestimate was 10-14 days transfer w/ no guarantee. I'm betting that mine get trucked from IN to NV, then M&B and shipped in time to get the card.

New listing at TireRack: Conti TS800

Another 451 snow tire option newly listed at TireRack:

Continental ContiWinterContact TS800 (Studless Ice & Snow)

The item name has been under all the Conti tires available but with no link to detail... until tonight.

The staggered 451 OE sizes are $352 for the set.

There is still not a pic, but Flying Tiger has one here, priced at CAD $549.99 tires only, same 451 OE sizes.

Also listed is a Pirelli studless winter set in OEM sizes, due in October.
