The Tire Rack has placed the Blizzak LM-18 on closeout and has introduced the Blizzak WS-60 in appropriate smart sizes:

They don't match up the blizzaks with the car. And they may have issues with buying 2+2 . They give a $50 gift card when you purchase 4 and only want to sell them in sets of 4.

I had no issues ordering my Blizzak LM-18's last winter in the same sizes as listed above.

Tire Rack and all tire manufacturers recommend that winter / snow tires only be installed in sets of four. Online orders of fewer than four winter / snow tires may result in a follow-up phone call from one of our product specialists to verify that your new tires will match those currently installed on your vehicle.

I believe that is because the default is 4 on the snowies.
But you can order 2/2 staggered, and the guy will prolly follow up anyway just to be sure. "Roger" called me to be sure I was getting what I needed... great customer service.
Oh, BTW... For you folks out West... the $50 AMEX cash card is only for tires purchased by Oct 09 that are in stock. Mine had to be trucked from IN to NV, otherwise pay the add'l shipping from IN. The guestimate was 10-14 days transfer w/ no guarantee. I'm betting that mine get trucked from IN to NV, then M&B and shipped in time to get the card.
